Given TimeShift's long, tumultuous development cycle that saw the game change platforms, swap publishers, and miss several release dates, it's surprising the game has made it to stores at all. So it's too bad that TimeShift isn't really worth the wait, thanks to a barely-there story, extremely rudimentary puzzles, and tired first-person shooter objectives like going through an entire level just to push a button. It does have some redeeming features, though. It's fun to pause time and whale on helpless soldiers, and some of the weapons are really satisfying to shoot.

Playing a game about traveling in space after another expedition that somehow got lost or destroid(U will have to find out somehow), to assist you there is a set of modern technologie bots that have no inteligence at all just a way of making programs for them with the CBOT language that is very close in structure and syntax to C++ and Java, have fun and learn programming, JEHAW.

COLOBOT combines both a real time game of strategy and an initiation to programming. You are at the head of a space expedition and you are assisted only by some robots. Your mission consists in successive attempts at the exploration and colonization of various planets.
You will have to search for the raw materials and energy you need in order to survive. As you go forward, you will be able to build and program new types of robots which will prove of an invaluable help for the completion of your task. You may also want to know that most of the planets you'll be visiting are crowded with primitive and insect-like lifeforms and that you may be forced into fighting them if you want to stay alive.

Trouble Shooting:
Error: Colobot has not been installed
Solution : merge colobot.reg with registry
Problem : it just wont boot(xp sp2)
Solution : try running in compatebility mode(Win95, Win98)
Error : something with "connot read memory"
Solution : install .Net frameworks(1.1,1.0,2.0) (it could solve the error but you might not even have it!)
Problem : flashing grafix (or some grafic error)
Solution : in the configuration menu there is the device function where you can pick the driver the program should use try changing this until it solves the problem, the functional driver for me is Direct3D T&L HAL (i have a 8800 gtx).
will work on Vista only in XP compatebility mode with admin rights - DarkMax(checked)

The Witcher is computer role-playing game for the PC developed by CD Projekt RED STUDIO. Based on the book series of the same name by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, the game uses BioWare's proprietary Aurora Engine. Install Instructions:
The image in the .rar is from CloneDVD, and you need Daemon Tools Advanced in order to mount it properly to get past the game's detection.
1.) Extract from the .rar files. You will get a .mdf and .mds image file totaling 6+ gigs.
2.) Download and install Daemon Tools Pro Advanced if you don't already have it:

3.) Once you have Daemon Tools up and running, you can close the main window and then right click on the Daemon Tools system tray icon.
4.) Go up to Virtual CD/DVD ROM and click Add Virtual IDE Drive.
5.) Go back to Virtual CD/DVD ROM and click on the virtual drive you just created, and the click mount image. You can now browse to the mini image and use that to trick the game into thinking the disc is in the drive.
Note: You can mount the actual DVD image in regular Daemon Tools and install it, but you need Advanced to make the Virtual IDE Drive. You may or may not need to enable all security emulation options. Right click on the system tray icon > Emulation > All Options On.

I just dl-ed the files. I extracted those files into three .iso images and installed the game by mounting .isos into D-Tools V.4.09HE. I had no problem, really. When installation process asks you to put CD2 in drive - you just mount the cd2 image into the virtual drive where cd1 image was. Daemon Tools will most probably show an error with "can't umount image that have open..." whatever - just ignore it and click "Try again". This should be all. There's a crack on every cd so there's no problem with that.
