Rise of the Triad: Dark War (abbreviated as ROTT) is a first-person shooter video game that was first released on February 17, 1995 and developed by Apogee Software (now known as 3D Realms).

Rise of the Triad's gameplay consists of various unique and interesting elements such as: hazardous environments (traps, fire pits, etc.), a vast and creative arsenal, destructible objects in the environment, various methods of accessing distant places (elevators, jump pads, etc.), and a broad range of foes.

Overall, the gameplay is straightforward and often linear, like that of other games developed during the same period of time (such as Doom). The objective is to kill as many enemies as possible along with the 'bosses', and to collect keys in order to complete successive levels. Occasionally special tactics and simple problem-solving skills are required to reach seemingly unreachable locations. Although most maps are fairly linear, there are some maps that were intentionally designed to avoid that, which have multiple exits.

Both vessels behave differently on the water, meaning players must master key racing tactics to navigate and perfect the courses.

Virtual Skipper 5 lets players compete at some of the most prestigious global sailing events, including Auckland, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco and Qingdao, now widely recognised as the recent sailing venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where the Great Britain sailing team won six medals including four gold’s. The game also incorporates an editing system that enables players to create their own water courses, providing a variety of different maps for renewed and continuous gameplay.

The Road to Rome focuses exclusively on the largely underpublicized Italian and Sicilian campaigns of WWII. Players can choose to fight on six new maps including Operation Husky (Sicily) and the battles for Anzio and Monte Cassino. Each map comes with highly detailed environments such as Italian houses, Mediterranean trees and even the Monte Cassino Monastery. Controllable vehicles are the heart of the Battlefield 1942 experience and The Road To Rome features eight new vehicles in addition to the more than 30 in the original title. These include the German BF-110 and British Mosquito twin-engined fighter-bombers. Also debuting are Italian and new British and German tanks and anti-tank guns. New hand-held weapons include the Italian Breda assault rifle, British Sten SMG and bayonets on rifles.

While The Road to Rome isn't the most ambitious expansion pack ever made, it makes a great game even better.

WipEout XL marks the return of the popular futuristic racer. Just as in the original game, players must race across crazy tracks while driving hovercraft from the future. On top of the racing action, players need to collect weapons in order to take down their closet competitors. This game introduces the Pit, where any player can stop to regain valuable shield energy. There is also a Two-Player mode, enabling two people to take to the course at the same time and determine who is the superior racer. The music from the first game is gone, but this time around there is licensed music from popular bands like as Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. Everything in WipEout XL has been updated, with weapons that are even more destructive, music that provides even more of an adrenaline rush, and courses that keep players busy for a long time.

Dogz 2006 or Dogz 6 is the latest in Pet loving series by Ubisoft. Characters (dogs) graphics:
The Dogs in the game looks realistic. But some dogs have errors in there graphic. For example the Beagle Legs in the game look stick like and un-realistic. It's the small things like this that can spoil the graphic's in this game. But the Animation of the dogs is very good the trick you can do look very cool and everything is very similar or the same as a real dog.

Armadillo Run is a physics-based puzzle game. You have to build structures with the purpose of getting an armadillo to a certain point in space. There is a selection of building materials, each with different properties, which can be combined to form almost anything. The realistic physics simulation gives you the freedom to solve each level in many different ways.

The goal is always to get the Armadillo, essentially a basketball, into the blue teleportation for about five straight seconds, under budget. To get it there you have many materials at your disposal: metal and rubber plates, metal rods, cloth, rockets, rope and elastic bands. Each level presents obstacles made of the same materials, gravity, and distance. Some levels have a likely solution meant to be used, but the beauty of this game is the infinite possible solutions that are just as valid.

7. PSP Phat vs PSP Slim
Here are the differences between the PSP Phat and the PSP Slim.
PSP Slim
+ Lighter and slimmer design
+ Faster loading times.
+ Slightly brighter and more saturated colors using OEL screen rather then the PSP Phat LCD Screen.
+ Can charge through USB cable (although it'll take longer than using AC adapter)
+ Video output capability (however, the cable is not included)
+ Analog stick not as stiff as original PSP
+ Has a greater flash memory, giving it more room for future updates.
+ Better placement of speakers (on the face of the PSP, rather than the bottom).
+ The wireless on/off switch is better positioned on the top and more clearly marked with "WLAN".
+ Because of the OEL Screen there is less of a chance of getting Dead Pixels
- Video output cable not included.
- UMD Tray feels fragile
- Memory Stick door feels flimsy and fragile (when pulled out)
- Battery compartment door doesn't feel as secure as original PSP
- Homebrew support is not as good as with the original PSP

Traveller's Tales has been in the LEGO business for several years now. LEGO Batman is the company's fifth go at the LEGO franchise and little has changed or evolved in that time. Though it offers almost nothing new, fans of the Dark Knight and Traveller's Tales' tried-and-true formula will get a kick out of LEGO Batman. There's a reason this gameplay has proven so successful -- it's accessible and enjoyable. But all of the issues with past LEGO games (nonsensical puzzles, difficulties judging jumps, bad AI) are all still here. Nothing has changed. By now, Traveller's Tales should have a near-perfect game. It doesn't. The effort hasn't been given to perfecting the formula and the issues are no longer forgivable.

What we get in the end is a very basic tale of villains escaping Arkham Asylum and Batman hunting them down. It doesn't get any more complicated than that, but it really doesn't need more depth. If you're playing LEGO Batman, it's because you want to smash objects and beat up some bad guys. Story shouldn't be a major concern.

Batman: Vengeance is a port of a console game that was released a full year ago, but the game's general appearance and sound hold up surprisingly well. Unfortunately, if you actually sit down and play the game, you'll find that the game also has horrible problems with its camera perspective and controls, so much so that playing Batman: Vengeance is an exercise in frustration. Unless you happen to like frustration, or you love Batman fanatically, or both, you're better off leaving Batman: Vengeance alone.

Batman: Vengeance is based on the TV cartoon that ran in the 1990s. Though the show drew inspiration from both Tim Burton's blockbuster motion picture and the official DC comic series, the Batman cartoon distinguished itself with its outstanding voice acting (featuring the likes of Mark Hamill, Roddy McDowall, and David Warner) and its distinctive look. All of the cartoon's scenery and characters looked extremely simple--Batman himself had a literally square jaw and a pair of triangles for eyes, but he always looked great leaping into action against his enemies, thanks to the cartoon's extremely fluid animation. Batman: Vengeance tries to capture the look of the cartoon series, and in some ways, it succeeds. Its characters, especially Batman, look much as they did in the later years of the cartoon show, and many of them, especially Batman, are animated extremely well.

You've seen the screenshots and movies for nearly a year. Most of you have played the prequel on the PlayStation (gah) or on your import Saturn (sigh). And when Grandia II hit the streets of Japan, many of you, including myself, were surprised that it didn't sell in droves. We wondered and pondered: did the game dramatically change from being one of the best RPGs ever on the Saturn and Playstation, to a mediocre title on the Dreamcast? Read on.

For those die-hard Grandia fans out there who've been waiting for the next chapter, anticipating bigger worlds, greater challenges, and a grand storyline, you might be disappointed that Grandia II doesn't take that big of an evolutionary leap on the Dreamcast. Visual Content Pack
This is the visual content package I have created. Due to the old codec that was used when the game was released 8 years ago, the video files were A LOT bigger than they should have been. I re-encoded them in standard avi format and it dropped the over 250mb visual file down to 50mb. This won't fix the video problem, but it will reduce save you some space for a folder you're barely using anyway. I'm currently looking for a way to solve the video problem. Just extract the rar to the "visuals" folder in your directory and let it overwrite.

Double Dragon is a 1987 beat-em-up developed by Technos Japan Corporation and distributed in North America and Europe by Taito. The game is considered a spiritual successor to Technos' earlier beat-em-up, Renegade, but introduced several additions such as two-player cooperative gameplay (hence the title) and the ability to arm oneself with an enemy's weapon after disarming them. It's also the fourth installment in a series you've probably never heard of. While SuperMax sounds like a chain of oversized grocery stores, no such thing is involved. Although, I'd much rather be at a grocery store, than play this prison of a game. From playing Prison Tycoon 4, I can see why the warden from The Shawshank Redemption shot himself in the head.

Atlantis Sky Patrol

January 17, 2008 - Atlantis Sky Patrol is an intriguing combination of Zuma and Disney's homage to those classic serials, "The Rocketeer." The core of the game is matching three colored spheres by firing puzzle pieces into a snaking chain, but the art deco atmosphere and some cool bonuses elevate it beyond a casual clone. It's one of those games that I find myself not exactly excited to play before I start, but am pleasantly surprised after just a few minutes of play.

The company line on Caesar III is that it's SimCity set in the Roman Empire. That's only partially true. You do run a city (or, rather, a series of cities) in a fashion somewhat like the classic urban management game, but the game mechanics of Caesar III are more akin to Blue Byte's Settlers II. Unlike in SimCity, you do not simply zone your territory and sit back while your city prospers or fails. Instead, you are commissioned to perform a much wider array of tasks, ranging from setting up efficient production lines to maintaining a military force. Caesar III is a much better game than Settlers II, and combines some of the best elements of both that game and SimCity. But it manages to suffer from Settler II's most glaring shortcoming: the combat system. What's worse, it finds a shortcoming of its own with some problems that make efficient management often more difficult than it should be. And both of these serve to slightly hamper what is otherwise a very enjoyable game.

Despite the small problems, building a thriving city in Caesar III is fun.
Caesar III is a computer game developed by Impressions Games and published by Sierra Entertainment; the third installment of the Caesar series, part of Sierra's City Building Series. It was released in 1998.

Chaser - iMMERSiON

Some games are too clever by half. Today's technology allows game designers so much leeway for creativity that they sometimes get caught up in adding bells and whistles to a game without ever creating a core of fun gameplay first. With the near-future shooter Chaser, Slovakian developer Cauldron has made a game that might not be the flashiest out there, but is one with a whole lot of heart. It doesn't break much new ground, and it's not as polished as it should be, but it offers loads of thrilling, old-school shooter action.

Our hero gets into even more trouble.

Chaser opens with cinematic verve aboard a massive space station orbiting Earth sometime in the near future. As the opening credits roll, two small ships roar toward the station. As soon as they dock, armed troops in body armor and menacing masks pour into the station. Meanwhile, in a medical lab elsewhere aboard the station, the amnesiac hero of the game, John Chaser, suffers through frightening flashbacks as he lies on an examining table. The flood of disturbing images awakens Chaser, who's serving as some sort of test subject in an experiment we can only guess at. Just as Chaser groggily gets to his feet, the troops come barreling around the corner toward the lab. When they spot Chaser, they open fire, missing our hero but setting off a chain reaction that threatens the entire station. And with that, the chase is on as you try to escape the station with your life. With a nod to Half-Life (and countless sci-fi movies), conduits burst around you, electric arcs from broken relay panels dance across the floor and huge support beams coming crashing down around your head. As if that weren't enough, there seems to be an enemy soldier at every turn. Fortunately, you grab one of their guns early on, and for the rest of the opening level, you blast your way to freedom in one fast -paced firefight after another.

From there, it's back to Earth, where you get mixed up with the Mafia and the Yakuza, engage in countless fierce firefights in varied locales, do a little infiltration and espionage work, and ultimately head to Mars to uncover the secret behind Chaser's past. The story leads you into political intrigue at the highest levels, with an evil political and business cartel trying to eradicate rebel freedom fighters on Mars.

None of this is particularly original, but developer Cauldron knows how to milk a proven cliché for all it's worth. For instance, the opening sequence aboard the space station sounds--and ultimately is--hackneyed, but it's handled quite nicely. The intro cinematic is crafted with directorial flair, using some exciting camera angles and editing to create a fun action sequence that also shows just how confused the hero is.

Blood flows freely in Chaser.

The gameplay that immediately follows the intro movie is filled with nonstop action. Some shooters try to get fancy with all kinds of clever cutscenes, scripted events, and role-playing elements, and sometimes those work spectacularly. But ultimately, shooters are action games, and without exciting action, you don't have much to build on. Fortunately, you get into one blazing firefight after another during Chaser's first mission--and indeed in almost every mission. Guards pop out of doorways and ambush you from behind crates, and cross fire erupts at intersections. A warehouse shootout during a later mission is so over the top, so outrageously violent, that it would make John Woo proud. In another highlight of the game, you engage in a long, running gun battle in a luxury hotel. Glass shatters as grenades and bullets fly every which way, steam pipes vent with a hiss when they get hit, and blood splatters the walls as the bodies pile up. It feels like a cross between a Quentin Tarantino movie and the famous lybattle in The Matrix. In fact, Chaser includes an "adrenaline mode" that lets you slow time like in that film or Max Payne. It's not necessary for success, and combat is usually more exciting at full speed, but it's a nice option to have for particularly tough encounters. Chaser's villains aren't brilliant, but they act smartly enough to provide a real challenge. They'll frequently take cover, and they have aim that's good enough to keep you on your toes--or rather, keep you ducking behind pillars and crates. They're also placed very well throughout the levels to ensure some fun surprises. Between the placement of enemies and the frequency and pacing of the firefights, Chaser at times bears a surprising resemblance to Doom, but with smarter enemies and real-world weapons. That's no small praise.

Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter is the fourth Marvel Comics-licensed fighting game produced by Capcom (see Marvel vs. Capcom series). It is a sequel to X-Men vs. Street Fighter which replaces most of the X-Men characters with characters from Marvel Super Heroes. In an attempt to balance the previous games' problems, the game engine was altered, although it remained aesthetically the same. Installation:
Hello People!
I'm proud to announce I have a crack for Clear Sky that works. I kind of combined two cracks I downloaded with the various links here in gameloo.info and gamecopyworld. These are not my links I just got lucky and combined them in the right way.
You need 1.5.03 and 1.5.04 European patches(and of course your game edition has to be the European one not the russian and not digital distribution), which I downloaded from gamershell, after that you need a miniimage which you can download from here:

(don't copy these bin files just mount the image from the miniimage folder)

And last but not least you need the crack from gamecopyworld.com from which you must copy the bin files into the bin folder in the game folder and a bat file which you must copy into the game folder. It's the 1.5.04 EGIGS Multi5 crack where you have all the instructions you need in a readme file and that combined with the image "makes" the game work Very Happy. Raiden III

Players once again take control of the famous Raiden Supersonic Attack Fighter. This time the game is in a full 3D environment and allows for the popular two-player mode; a new attack that is usable only in two-player mode is a beam attack that is usable whenever one player lines up in front of the other. Level design differs somewhat from prior Raiden installments, in that the first three levels are based on the previous games, with the first based on the original Raiden. One of the significant features in Raiden III include moving away from the traditional 2-D gameplay, using more anime-looking 3D models, and incorporating a "flash shot system", which rewards players when they destroy enemies that appear very quickly.

FIFA 2009 [DEMO]

EA Sports have announced the release date for the Fifa 2009 demo - September 11.

The demo will allow the player to do a full exhibition and will have 6 teams available:

The demo will unveil the new Team Management feature: Custom Tactics, giving the player a chance to sample tactical options in each of the key categories (Build Up, Chance Creation, and Defence).

Sam & Max: Hit The Road

You play Sam (a Canine Shamus) and Max (a hyperkinetic rabbity thing), the freelance police. Travel all over the US on the trail of a sasquatch named Bruno kidnapped from his place at the Hall of Oddities, and on the way visit locations like The World's Largest Ball of Twine, The World of Fish, and The Mount Rushmore Dinosaur Tarpit.

The puzzles involve some of the most twisted humor in a Lucasarts adventure game, and the dialogue including a non-sequitur option goes way over the top. Though the parental warning on the cover seems a bit much (seemed at first like a joke, but Lucasarts seems to take it a little to seriously...see company line). Beside puzzles, there are also some action sequences, like Wak-A-Rat.
