For XP users:
Change ::1 to 127.0.0.1 this because xp doesnt reconize the ::1 for some reason, i tested it with vista and ::1 works great (straight in menu). When you use 127.0.0.1 it will take you +/- 5 sec to get in the menu. But its still faster then the 20-30 sec from ea.

How to force resolution to one above 1280x1024;

To set the resolution, go to Falloutprefs.ini in My DocumentsMy GamesFallout3 and change the two "isize" entries to whatever you want. For example,

Extract and put all the files in your main fallout 3 folder, copying over other files if necessary. Run the .bat, then run the ENsetup.exe. And place the eng.esp in your Data folder.

Alternative crack for English Audio;

1) Download the image (I used one named "Fallout 3 (Full 1C)" from TPB)
2) Set your non-Unicode language to Russian
- In Windows XP:
Enter Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, Advanced.
At the top, there's a dropdown box, set this to Russian.
When prompted to reboot, do so.
3) Start installation, just mount the image, and run setup.exe.
4) It should pop up a dropdown box, choose English in this.
5) After installation (this takes a while), apply the crack from this post.
- To do this, just put all the files in the installed Fallout 3 directory, and run the .bat
6) Play the game!

If all the above methods can’t fix your game, just wait for the crack from DarkCoder or Razor

Q: Whats ripped from this?

A: Videos. Only thing i’ve noticed missing were the intro movies and cutscreens.
All the sound is still there. Multiplayer maps and what not have probably been removed too, but those aren’t any use to us anyways.

Penumbra: Black Plague is the second and final installment in the Penumbra tale from Frictional Games. It is a point-and-click adventure with some notable exceptions to the standard fare, but one that muddles from what we have seen and done before to a game that truly can be immersive.

There are monsters/mutations running about and you will have a cursor that changes from an eye to a hand when there are things to do in a given location – that is the part that has been tread before. But what this game does, and does remarkably well, is make the world seem more alive by asking you to do what you really would in a living, breathing space. The physics are solid and make sense. You get that aforementioned hand icon, but (for example) to open a desk drawer, you don’t just click on it, you click, hold and pull with the mouse. That will open the drawer. If something round is inside, it will roll around and you may have to position yourself better to reach in and grab it.

Team dynamics are vital, and players will need to select their party carefully, combining melee, ranged and magical strikes in conjunction with overwhelming group combo attacks from five character classes to triumph in battle. Players can quest alone or with friends in five-player cooperative and competitive play modes, working together or going head-to-head in the ultimate clash for battlefield supremacy.
