Broken Sword is an adventure game series created by game designer Charles Cecil of Revolution Software. The game series revolves around the adventures of George Stobbart and Nico Collard in several fictitious stories based on history and mythology. The first two games in the series are controlled by a traditional point-and-click interface. The third and fourth installments are based on a 3D graphics engine, with the third game using a direct control mechanism. The fourth game, Broken Sword: The Angel of Death, returns to the standard point-and-click interface but within the 3D environment. A film, based on the first Broken Sword game, has been planned and is ready to be written.

How to run on xp:
1.if you have multiple cd-rom drives the game will have a problem with installation
2.to fix that burn the isos into cds and put the burned cd 1 into your main cd-rom drive for the installation to detect that drive and start the installation
3.or you can try to edit the sword.ini file in your installation folder and change the drive letters that are written there 4.after those steps game fully works on xp

Installation:

1. mount both images with deamon tools
2. create folder named for example C:program files/BS2
3. copy all files and folders of both images to this folder
4. browse to c:program files/bs2 and then enter folder named sword2, copy content of this folder to main folder c:program files/bs2
5. open CD1 image file and go to the clusters folder, copy speech.clu file to main folder of the game and rename it to speech1.clu, do the same with cd2, only rename this speech.clu to speech2.clu
6. download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scummvm/scummvm-0.11.1-win32.exe?download
7. run scummvm and add game and browse to your game folder and press ok
now just start game
