Down in the bayou of Louisiana, all hell has broken loose in this second entry of the multiplayer zombie-fest. Players assume the role of four new survivors, each with their own personality and new dialog. The game leads them through the southeastern region of the US -- from Savannah, Georgia through the bayou country, and climaxing in New Orleans' French Quarter.

In addition to firearms, you’ll also get a chance to take out some aggression on infected with a variety of carnage-creating melee weapons, from chainsaws to axes and even the deadly frying pan. You'll be putting these weapons to the test against (or playing as in Versus) three horrific and formidable new Special Infected. You'll also encounter five new "uncommon" common infected, including the terrifying Mudmen.

What’s Ripped? : Nothing! Only other languages apart from English are ripped!
Ok I retraced my steps in my mind again in this is exactly how i got my version working:
I am running a Windows 7 64bit Ultimate System.
1. Extracted Globes Release and ran the converter
2. Installed Stanleis Bug Fix
3. Installed Up-to-date Graphic Drivers
4. Rebuilded Soundcache (ingame console: snd_rebuildcache or something likle that)
5.Exchanged the Client.dll with the one from the Demo.
6. Started game through RUN_L4D2
7. Got in game with console command map "mapname"
8. Change your clock to 11/17 with the time zone GMT +08:00 Taipei. (optional)
So far I havent encountered any crashs. Meleeweapons work perfectly, even the Chainsaw, which totally rocks xD and the Cola. (Require STEAM, NO ONLINE)

STEP 4 : APPLY NAME FIX IF DESIRED Name fix: just go to cfg and autoexec.cfg that is in the .rar file and change "name noobsc0uter" to "name yourname"

PS:
If you still manage to crash after doing the reg fixes (all 3!) for the right bit your OS is on then do this: change date to nov. 29th and time zone to beijing, chongqing, hong kong, urumqi GMT +8:00
